On October 13, Huang Qifan, Mayor and Municipal Committee Deputy Secretary of Chongqing, visited the exhibition area of Chongqing · China Import Food Mall, which was set up at N2 Hall of the 91st China Food and Drinks Fair (short in CFDF), deeply learning the situation of construction and development of China Import Food Mall (hereinafter referred to as Import Food Mall) in Chongqing, and encouraged it to take its advantage of platform to contribute to Chongqing's import and export trade.
At 16 o'clock in the afternoon, Huang Qifan, Mayor of Chongqing, visited exhibition area of Chongqing · China Import Food Mall which locates in Chongqing International Exhibition Center to understand development of Food Mall. First of all, General Manager Si Shuangcan thanked the Government for offering China Import Food Mall good opportunities to develop in Chongqing, and then he briefly introduced the construction schedule.

Huang Qifan paid particularly attention to the development of China Import Food Mall in Chongqing, hopes Import Food Mall to fully use advantages for entering or exiting the port and policy of bonded port of Chongqing, improve core competitiveness, increase efforts of market promotion, expand market radiation capacity, bear up the role of bridge between Chongqing and the world, make contribution to development of Chongqing expanded export-oriented economic, let public buy import foods which are assured, secured and cheap without leaving their homes. Huang also pointed out that: "the Import Food Mall newly arrived in the city of Chongqing, therefore you need to do more marketing and publicity to let everyone know that Chongqing has a China Import Food Mall, which brings people affordable food.”

China Food and Drinks Fair which known as "number one" in the industry, which is one of the biggest trade platform of China's wine and food industry circulation and is a platform where the national grocers can join their hands together and promote the development of their brands. China Food and Drinks Fair is held twice in Spring and Winter every year, has been successfully held 89 sessions so far, which is praised as the indicator of wine and food industry. This is the first time Chongqing · China Import Food Mall participates in the CFDF, inviting exhibitors in China to create a 480 billion RMB business.
