On December 16, 2015, after more than two years of construction, Deqing Port, which was invested by P&T (Hong Kong) group, successfully held its maiden flight ceremony. This marked the first deqing 48 teu container ship set sail in the history of Deqing, the maiden voyage of container ship in deqing county history, and is of milestone significance of deqing inland port shipping history.

The subprefect of Deqing county Chen Jian hosted the ceremony, while the county magistrate Wang Qinying announced the sailing. The county leader Fang Fang, Wang Shaohua, Chen Jian, Cui Yonggen and P&T group’s board chairman Su Zhijun, president Xuan Xiaofei attended the ceremony.

P&T group President Xuan Xiaofei pointed out that Deqing port will actively carry out after operation of inland water container feeder, bonded transportation and bonded warehousing service. Deqing port will become the largest inland port in the north Zhejiang, and realize the seamless docking with Shanghai port, Ningbo port and Taicang port, thus Deqing import and export container can make the customs clearance on site. At the same time, clearly put forwarded that Deqing port international logistics park's goal is to "build first-class park, establish billions industry", when completed, will form millions tons throughput scale, set up the Yangtze river delta region scale, intensive, modern inland river port of international standard.

Cao Chunjin, the vice general manager of Zhongliang Haiyun Zhejiang branch, which is the representative of logistics industry, in his speech said Deqing port is a brand new logistics platform for Deqing and even the north Zhejiang area, promised to work closely with Deqing port, at the same time, the company has set up offices in deqing, and put the Deqing port into HuaLiang logistics whole network. At present, Zhongliang Haiyun listed in the top three domestic trade container throughput in Ningbo, Taicang, Guangzhou, Humen, Zhuhai port. Needless to say, with the full support of Zhongliang Haiyun, Deqing port will have outstanding performance in terms of domestic trade container business.

After the age of high-speed train and airline, Deqing ushered the brand new port era, shortened the distance between Deqing and the world.
